The shared lounge at the property was just fantastic! I couldn't get enough of sitting in complete silence, surrounded by strangers. It was the epitome of relaxation and socialization. Parking was such a thrill, I mean, who doesn't love a good parking spot?
I absolutely hated not having anything to complain about. It was such a disappointment to find no faults at all.

I had the most incredible stay at a beautiful castle in a secluded area surrounded by medieval villages. The owner, who spoke perfect English, gave us a personal tour of the castle with its fascinating history dating back to the Knights Templars. The room was stunning, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our window was breathtaking. The owner also gave us excellent advice for exploring the surrounding areas. The castle gardens were lovely to stroll through, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this extraordinary place.

Spending Xmas at a historical getaway is something special. The period decor and charming gardens gave us a sense of stepping back in time. The personal guided tour was fascinating and the owners' hospitality was top-notch. The croissants were so flakey and delicious. Bonus, the hotel is located in a quaint village, off the beaten path, making it a peaceful escape.
Our rooms in the outer building weren't the most spacious and lacked original charm. I wish there was more of a festive atmosphere during the holidays.

I recently stayed at Chateau De Mauriac for a leisure trip and it was absolutely amazing. Our stay was so enjoyable that we extended it because we couldn't bear to leave. The host, Emmanuel, was a delight and gave us a fascinating tour of the castle. The rooms and the entire chateau have been beautifully restored with attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious and the village is peaceful. I can't wait to return one day.
Would recommend this hotel.

The Chateau De Mauriac is an incredible place with spotless rooms and a comfortable bed. It's located near old - medieval villages that are perfect for exploring. The owner - Emmanuel - is a brilliant host who offers a complimentary personal tour of the castle and shares interesting stories about French history. The breakfast is tasty, and the castle's restoration is impressive.
Couldn't recommend more.

The hotel had a great location, very close to restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided us with maps and helpful information about the area. The room we stayed in had a large window that let in plenty of natural light. The shower was clean and modern.
The hotel was not very soundproof, we could hear people talking and walking in the hallway. The breakfast was average, with limited options and no hot food.

The room was spotless and comfortable with stunning views from the window. The breakfast was delicious and the personal tour of the castle was a highlight. We also enjoyed exploring nearby French villages and towns.
The castle may not be accessible to those with mobility issues.
